In loving memory of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Nomsa Lindiwe Dlamini, affectionately known as Nomsi, was a woman of extraordinary warmth, kindness and unwavering faith. Her life was devoted to her family, her Christian beliefs and the simple acts of love that brought happiness to those around her.

Born in South Africa, Nomsa spent much of her life in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, where she became a much-loved member of her family and community.

Her home was always a place of welcome. The door was open, the kettle was ready, and there was nearly always something delicious cooking in the kitchen. Nomsa believed that sharing a meal was one of the most beautiful ways to bring people together.

Cooking was one of her greatest joys. She took pride in preparing traditional family dishes, especially for Sunday lunches and special celebrations. Her children and grandchildren remember the wonderful aromas filling her kitchen, the laughter around the dining table and the love she put into every meal.

Nomsa's family was the centre of her world. She was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother who treasured every opportunity to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Her gentle encouragement, wise advice and comforting embrace made everyone feel special and loved.

She believed strongly in the importance of family traditions, respect for elders and caring for one another. These values were passed down through generations and remain an important part of her family's life.

Her Christian faith was a guiding light throughout her journey. She found strength in prayer, comfort in God's promises and joy in worship and fellowship. Her faith taught her to approach others with compassion, forgiveness, humility and generosity.

Nomsa was particularly thoughtful towards elderly neighbours, friends experiencing difficulties and families in need. Whether offering a warm meal, sharing a prayer or simply sitting beside someone who needed company, she gave her time and kindness without expecting anything in return.

Some of her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family during birthdays, Christmas celebrations, church gatherings and Sunday afternoons when children and grandchildren filled her home with laughter.

Those who knew Nomsa will remember her beautiful smile, colourful clothing, gentle humour and the warmth of her personality. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome, valued and understood.

Her family remembers the stories she told, the songs she loved, the wonderful meals she prepared and the countless moments of tenderness that made her presence so special.

Her peaceful resting place, lovingly surrounded by flowers, offers her family a place to visit, remember and reflect on a life filled with faith, family and love.

Although her passing has left a deep emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, the beautiful memories she created continue to bring comfort and strength.

We miss you dearly, Mama Nomsi. Your prayers, wisdom and unconditional love remain with us every day. Your kindness lives on through the lives you touched, and your legacy continues through your children, grandchildren and generations still to come.

Forever loved. Forever cherished. Forever remembered. ❤️
