In loving memory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Thabo Johannes Mokoena was a man of kindness, dignity and quiet strength whose greatest happiness came from the love of his family and the simple pleasures of everyday life.

He was a devoted husband, a caring father and a proud grandfather. His family was the centre of his world, and he believed that the greatest treasures in life were not possessions, but the people with whom we share our journey.

Thabo's home was always a place of warmth and welcome. Family gatherings were filled with laughter, conversation and wonderful meals shared around the table. He particularly enjoyed bringing different generations together, listening to their stories and sharing his own experiences and gentle wisdom.

He had a wonderful sense of humour and a smile that could brighten even the most difficult day. His children remember his patience, encouragement and the valuable lessons he taught them about honesty, hard work, respect and treating others with kindness.

One of Thabo's greatest passions was gardening. He found peace and happiness working with the soil, planting flowers, tending vegetables and watching his garden flourish. He believed that every plant deserved patience and care, just as every person deserved understanding and compassion.

His garden became a special place where he could reflect, enjoy nature and spend quiet moments with those he loved. His grandchildren especially enjoyed helping him water the plants and listening to the stories he shared while they worked together.

Thabo's Christian faith was an important part of his life. It strengthened his belief in humility, forgiveness, generosity and helping those less fortunate. He lived these values quietly, through his actions rather than his words.

He was always willing to assist a neighbour, offer encouragement to a friend or lend a helping hand when someone needed support. He never expected recognition or praise, believing that kindness was simply part of being a good person.

Some of his happiest memories were made during family celebrations, Sunday lunches and peaceful afternoons spent surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Those who knew Thabo will remember his warm smile, gentle humour, hardworking hands and the love he gave so generously. His presence brought reassurance and comfort, and his wisdom continues to guide the family he cherished.

His resting place, lovingly maintained and surrounded by flowers, offers his family a peaceful place to visit, reflect and remember the beautiful life they shared with him.

Although his passing has left an emptiness that can never truly be filled, the memories he created remain a lasting source of comfort and strength.

We miss you deeply, Thabo. Your kindness lives on through the people you helped, your wisdom continues through your children, and your love grows with every new generation of our family.

Forever loved. Forever cherished. Forever remembered. ❤️
